As the thermometer rises and the humidity soars, the idea of sitting inside and creating sounds great. Now, as much as my kids like video games, they still get excited when I break out the beads and start making something. Their favorite is making things for Grandma. She is a good sport about it though. I also get them to bead gifts for their friends when they have a birthday party to go to or need a gift for a teacher. They get a great sense of satisfaction from being able to tell everyone they made it!! We live in Tucson and have a great gem show. My daughter was thrilled when a class mate asked her teacher if the necklace that my daughter had made for her, had been purchased at the gem show. As a beader I continually want to try new things, use new stones, attempt new techniques. Sometime it takes practice to make it work, other times it just comes together. A lot of us here are crafty and just talking about things makes an idea form. I don't belong to a beading club but that would be a great avenue to inspiration as well. Or maybe a beading home party, that sounds like fun. Well, whatever your ideas for inspiration are don't hold back, anything goes! Happy Beading
