As the thermometer rises and the humidity soars, the idea of sitting inside and creating sounds great. Now, as much as my kids like video games, they still get excited when I break out the beads and start making something. Their favorite is making things for Grandma. She is a good sport about it though. I also get them to bead gifts for their friends when they have a birthday party to go to or need a gift for a teacher. They get a great sense of satisfaction from being able to tell everyone they made it!! We live in Tucson and have a great gem show. My daughter was thrilled when a class mate asked her teacher if the necklace that my daughter had made for her, had been purchased at the gem show.
